Public School 41Q  The Crocheron School

Dear P.S. 41 families,

I am writing to share that the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) is proposing to temporarily re-site and co-locate the kindergarten grade of P.S. 41 Crocheron (26Q041) (P.S. 41) with The CIVIC School of Bayside Hills (26Q390) in building Q361 for three years beginning in the 2021-2022 school year. P.S. 41 is currently located in building Q041, located at 214-43 35th Avenue, Queens, NY 11361 in District 26, and also has use of Transportable Classroom Units (TCUs) Q728, a set of two TCUs. Q041 also houses one site of District 75 school P.S. Q993, which serves students in grades K-5. Q361 is located at 56-10 214th Street, Queens, NY 11364, approximately 1.6 miles away from Q041, and is also in District 26. A re-siting means that part or all of a school will be located in a different building than the building in which the school is currently located. A co-location means that two or more school organizations are located in the same building and may share common spaces, such as playgrounds, gymnasiums, libraries, and cafeterias.

Below please find the school utilization proposals to be voted on at the April 28, 2021. 

All joint public hearings ahead of the PEP will be held via teleconference.
